ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM R2.0 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard w/Heatsi

Excellent motherboard for an LGA 1155 CPU

Bought this to replace the MB in a Lenovo core i3 system board that went bad. Used the CPU and CPU Fan from the Lenovo (this one said it came with a heatsink, but did not specify that it actually came with a Pentium CPU - I bought it because it was the same socket as the original CPU required). The Heatsink was low end tabs that clip into the mb, which one broke when I removed the cpu that came on it - so I just used the heatsink from the Lenovo and it worked fine (it was heavier duty anyway). Other than the fact that the Lenovo case uses non-standard connectors for the front panel, this board worked like a charm after I figured out which pins to connect for the power switch. System back up and running better than new after a few reboots to get Windows to recognize the new software.

Generally good with a couple notable drawbacks.

Overall pretty good. Fits well with a slim case and provides good protection and looks good. There are a couple points that made me give only 3 stars: 1) The detent on the rotational clip could be stronger. I prefer to carry in the horizontal position, but it slips back toward the vertical. 2) The interior padding leaves a fine dust on the screen that must be wiped off frequently. Not a heavy coating, but enough to be noticeable.
