Cherish and honor new life!
What an utterly charming way to honor and usher in new life!! Wish I'd had this book for my own three, now grown, whose presence in this world has always meant just what this book describes. You have to read it, see it, feel it for yourself to know what I mean in this review. Thank you, thank you, Debra Frasier, for your vision, creativity and wisdom!

Planet Earth - Mesmerizing!

exposition of 'Planet Earth' is simply astounding. Takes my breath away. I bought sets of this incredible DVD production for my adult children so that they may see at their convenience - and be amazed by - the extraordinary footage showing our world, this planet upon which we live, in ways we could never, ever see it ourselves. Altogether a feat of great magnitude. If I could, I'd buy it for everyone I know.

Excellent just got better
Having heart-loved the original LP of Bernstein's 'Candide' for decades, I was thrilled with New York City Opera Company's fabulous production of it in April 2008. So I bought the CD remake just to check it out. I could not BE more pleased! Buy it! You'll be glad you did. This thoroughly enjoyable classic stands on its own; you don't even need to see a stage production.
