Fantastic!
'Father of the Pride' is a fantastic animation that was, unfortunately, axed before its first season could complete.
Set in Las Vegas, it focuses on a family of white lions kept by the famous magicians Siegfried and Roy. Larry, the patriarch of the family, is a loud, overweight, lazy lion who would like nothing better than to lie on his couch and watch TV all day. Unfortunately, he shares a home with his fairly normal wife (Kate), rebelious teen daughter (Sierra), geeky son (Hunter) and bad-tempered father-in-law (Sarmoti). The funniest moments of the show, however, come from the antics of Siegfried and Roy.
It may not be as funny as 'Futurama' or the more memorable seasons of 'The Simpsons', but 'Father of the Pride' is well worth watching at least once. The animation is brilliant, and there are some excellent celebrity guests such as Danny DeVito, Eddie Murphy and Lisa Kudrow.
