Alien: Isolation -- Nostromo Edition (Microsoft Xbox One) Used

Slow Burner
Alien Isolation is a game for the 'thinking' gamer and not really for the ' I just want to kill everything as quickly as possible' gamer. That's me! You will need patience and will need to follow, work out and remember the clues you find along the way. Very atmospheric, especially with the lights out and with your surround system turned up! Graphics are pretty good but I feel the game play is to slow for me. Sometimes when I get home after a long days graft I just want to switch a game on and kill my enemies. Not have to work on clues etc. So am I enjoying Alien Isolation? Yes, when I have time to think, but no when all I want to do is release my days tensions. However as I only paid a small amount for it on Ebay (other selling sites are available) it's great value for money!

Second Hand Bargain
My second, erm secondhand foray into a Denon micro system. Overall for the money, equivalent to the cost of a meal for two at a pub. Drinks not included! The purchase has been pleasing enough but ideal for where I want to use it, in my conservatory. I have two top end systems in my lounge but didn't want to risk the electronics in such an up and down temperature environment. The sound is good enough. A comparable price would be around £400 for a new (unit only). It has plenty of inputs including a pre out for a subwoofer, which with my 4 (looped together) monitors it needs. No overheating either. It hasn't got a phono input. CD is good. Tuner also. Good build quality. I would definitely recommend this unit. I just hope get more than a few months use out of this one.

AKG-Y50 Bluetooth Headphones
My second pair of Bluetooth headphones. Better than my first for sound and build quality. Good battery life, but a little fiddly to use. At the price I paid they are a 5 star product. Maybe at the price when 'new' others may come into the frame. I really like them and won't be changing them anytime soon! Sound 5 stars Build 5 stars Ease of use 4 stars.
