Great versatile light modifier.
A simple solution to many lighting situations. I use this to bounce light down into macro shots where my lens and extension tubes obscure the flash when used on the hotshoe. A very handy and cheap tool to have in the bag!

Decent microphone if used with a good cable.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This microphone outperformed my expectations from such a cheap offering by a long way. As I had a good microphone cable already, I discarded the poor quality cable that came with this microphone, as other reviews had complained about a poor quality connection and crackly sound. I am pleased to say that I have experienced move of the issues using my own cable.
For it's price point, this sounds great and feels great in the hand. My only critical point would be sensitivity, could be a little higher, but again, at the price this week's for, you have to limit expectations.
All in all, if you are on a budget, and keep expectations realistic, this is a microphone I would recommend.

A great studio solution for a tight budget.
Almost everything you need for video work, and photography in one package. The stands are fairly flimsy, but perfectly good for indoor use. For outdoor use, they would be fine if sandbags are used. They provide a powerful and controllable light and render colours perfectly with a tungsten white balanced selected in camera. They do get very hot though, gloves are recommended after just a couple of minutes use. I have read that they also need cooling time after about 20 minutes of constant use, or the bulb can explode, although I have not used them for longer than this in one stretch, so I cannot attest to that. The lights have a focus function, but it is very limited, although the barn doors help in this regard. Perfect for someone, like me, who is just starting out in a studio setting, or for when you are on a tight budget.
