Mystery and murder in the English countryside.
This is an extremely entertaining show. Ive enjoyed it for several years, both on cable and now through DVD' s which allow for repeated viewing. In my opinion, the original show- Seasons 1 through 13 with John Nettles, is the best. I really like the bits with his wife and daughter-the love that is there, and the frustration between home and career' and how they all deal with it.
Good cast,production, scripts-well worth the money!!
