The coffee for your second and third cup in the morning.
I have learned not to expect much from reasonable priced coffee. Unfortunately you really do get what you pay for, so I didn't have too high hopes for Victor Allen Italian Roast. However, I found that this is a good cup of coffee. Maybe not quite strong enough for the first cup in the morning, but definitely good enough for the second and third. It is an excellent value and for people who aren't Dark Roast lovers, I think you would be really satisfied with this coffee. For me, I want my first cup to grab my taste buds and say "Hey Bonehead, get your ass in gear, it's morning so wake up." Victor Allen's Italian Roast says "Hi ya buddy, it's another day and perhaps you should get out of sleepy time mode." I will probably get a stronger Dark Roast for my first cup and drink Victor Allen for my second and third. It will make the more expensive coffee last longer. Victor Allen Italian Roast is a great price and good coffee.

Makes for an enjoyable ride
I love this item. I transfered it to a flash drive so I could listen to it in my car. It makes for an enjoyable ride to listen to the stories of Lord Wimsey. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves classic mysteries.

Eric Sloane is the Master of Americana.
Anything done by Eric Sloane is masterfully done. He was the historian of Americana and painter of by gone days. He was a great man who educated you with entertaining books. This is great reading for us older people who believe that the past has a lot to admire.
