Great for cosplay / costume
It was the perfect size for what I was looking for. I'd like to preface that I bought this as a costume prop and I have NO INTENTION OF USING IT AS AN UMBRELLA. So, I can't attest to the quality of the parasol when it comes to withstanding elements. I imagine from looking at it, that it wouldn't stand up well to wind, so be aware of that.
It has a wooden at the end, which should make it easy to modify later if I want to add a custom handle. I use Rustolium vinyl and fabric paint to paint every other panel for the costume I was making it for. The paint adhered to the material fine, although I did have some issues taping it off properly. I used masking tape, but it didn't have a perfect line so I'd recommend using a higher quality painters tape if you're wanting to spray paint it. It also has a round wooden nob at the end, which was also great for my customizing.
