Good product. Can be made better.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich You'll need to make some modifications. You'll need Harley Kit 90201540; 4 - 1/4"-28 x 1" grade 8 standard bolts; 4 - 1/4" large diameter washers; and 4 - 1/4" nylok nuts or equivalent.
Throwaway the crappy metric bolts and nuts that came with the kit and replace with the 1/4" bolts, washers and nuts. Next, cut the two little welds holding the posts in place and remove the posts. Replace posts with the clips from the kit. Mount to the rails and install your bags.

Great product.
Despite saying it won't fit a 2003 Softail Standard, it does actually fit. Easy to install. Simply remove the existing wires from the connectors, crimp new sockets onto the new wires, plug and play from there. Note: you don't need a ground wire for the turn signals. Just the power wire. Ground is provided for all through the main connector.

Great vest
I use this vest in the petroleum hauling business. Great visibility, plenty of pocket options and meets the FR requirements.
