Captian McDaniel displays extraordinary faith and courage as a POW for 6 years during the Vietnam war. here is a true American hero
An absolutely compelling book about the perseverance, courage and life changing faith that allowed Captain Eugene McDaniel to survive brutal torture, horrific living conditions, and constant uncertainly and stress as a POW for 6 years during the Vietnam War. The facts and descriptions are sobering and difficult to read, but ultimately he writes with humility and grace and forgives his captors. A powerhouse, life changing read. It is a tribute to the human spirit, the brotherhood of the military and to God's grace. The War may have been "unpopular" but what a hero it produced.

accessible content but still gives a good brain stretch
I love the crossword puzzles and the wordsearches. They're challenging but not impossible
