Very apt.
Kathy Kirby had such an incredible range as a singer and she was such a versatile and dramatic vocalist.
This is a great selection of songs which highlights all of Kathy's qualities.
I can highly recommend this CD.

"Life Love Flesh Blood" is a very apt title for the album.
Imelda has written songs with very personal lyrics and deep meaning, giving an insight to her inner feelings. The melodies are memorable and easy to listen to and are appropriate to the words of the songs.
Imelda's voice is outstanding and she delivers the songs with great emotion and feeling.
Imelda's singing is just pure joy.
The standard of musicianship is of a very high standard and on a couple of tracks she has 2 very highly regarded musicians in Jeff Beck and Jools Holland.
A must buy for serious music lovers.

The Title of the album," Talk to Me" is very appropriate.
Imelda May, the singer in Blue Harlem, demonstrates her huge vocal range and skills on this album of jazz, blues, rock and ballads.
Imelda is a vocalist with tremendous talent and is absolutely fantastic to listen to.
On this album Imelda is backed by excellent musicians who complement her amazing voice.
