Highly Recommended!

I cannot fault the Shetland series. It is one of the best, if not the best crime drama around. The beautiful and unique landscape of the Shetland Isles is picturesque and the acting first class. I am also a big fan of Ashley Jensen (DI Ruth Calder) so I know she will absolutely do a wonderful job as the new lead detective in the series alongside the talented Alison O'Donnell (DS "Tosh" McIntosh), Steven Robertson (DC Sandy Calder) and Lewis Howden (PC Billy McCabe). Of course, Douglas Henshall as DI Jimmy Perez will be missed.
