Up Up and Away Santa
I was super happy to replace this. I had one years ago and my kids at the time were very young and loved to watch Santa go around the very large village we have. The motor stopped working years ago and I had no idea who could fix it. We would set it out for years just so Santa was over the village but it didn’t work. We finally threw it away. I looked at various ones and was surprised how expensive they are knowing they are from the 90’s and most prob stop working. I bought this one since it was described as “new” thinking maybe the owner never used it and just held onto it.
Well it’s NOT new at all. It is clearly very used. The trees were pretty bent up. And the bottom was obviously cut open, motor fixed and glued back. But it was a pretty crap job. The bottom will need to be re-glued and the motor makes a pretty loud noise. With tv on or just noise noise from family it’s not too noticeable until it gets quiet. Then you can really hear it. I figure most of them are all prob the same way. So I have to spend $80-100 to get one that works and any of them prob have same issues. At least it’s only out during Christmas time. I wish I would have kept ours and really tried to figure out to replace the motor. The ones on Amazon are not very tall and don’t compare to this one at all.
