Downhill Quality
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Needing only a replacement for a failed spring in my storm door mortise set, I ordered a Wright replacement for the entire unit. Such is the nature of American retailing in the 21st century. Unable to find an exact match to what was on our door, I ordered a different, but acceptable looking lever handle model.
Cuts in quality were easily evident when examining the parts. Most everything is smaller, and design changes were to accommodate cost, rather than quality. The handle, which looks nice in photographs, proved to be so unbelievably uncomfortable in the hand, that my wife and I agreed to replace them with the old lever handles.
All this because of a failed 25 cent spring.
