Only fools send DVD's label-side down in their jewel case
Three of the four DVD's in the Back to the Future collection were improperly stored in the jewel case with the label side down. Which is likely what led to the obvious damage to the reading surface of the second movie. With little point in trying to play it prior to trying to repair the damage.

Only half the width it should be with it's measured pitch of 1.27, not 2.54.
This is a 1.27 pitch ribbon cable. Not a 2.54 pitch cable. At 14 pins a 2.54 pitch ribbon cable measures to be over an inch wide. That is to say greater than 2.54 centimeters in width. Since the pitch numbers are expressed in the metric system.
