Half flat, half round
I tried the strings on an epiphone Flying V. The squick noise my fingers made on roundwound strings disappeared with these on. They are not absolutely flat, but they are very smooth. They sound bright like roundwounds and glide like flat wounds. Do not sound dull or muted like other flats. These are my new go to for strings.

Good hardcopy reference
With this book I was FINALLY able to ID my fender tube amp circuit after online searches lead me nowhere. The first hundred or so pages cover components their function in amps, and general electrical theory that pertains to amps (the section on grounding helped me quite a bit). Includes tables to identify speakers and transformers. Pretty comprehensive and easy to read. Then hundreds of schematics.
