Doesn't meet the standard.
When I get a food thermometer I check it against the ones I already have to make sure that it is accurate.
When I checked this one it wasn't accurate reading from 2℃ to 5℃ out. As I use the thermometer to check that food is "Safe" ie the internal temperature is >82℃ 5℃ is a fail.
However it isn't worth sending the thermometer back as it is cheap.

Nice piece of kit
This is the second pebble which I have had, and it does its job very well. Right size physically and works well. Highly recommended

Its a Battery
It is a replacement battery ffs there is nothing to say. It seems to work and arrived on time and was inexpensive.
