Exactly what it needs to be.
Works as it should. It is failry agressive. For harder forged knives works perfect (My Wusthoff knives). Tried on stainless kitchen knives also. On stainless this steel will take off a lot of material very quickly.

So far this is my favorite knobby front tire for big bikes. I have a 90/90r21 on a 1.85 inch warp 9 wheel on my 23 890 Adventure. It is easily on par or better than the Motoz Rallz I have used prior on multiple bikes. The Mitas handles the road far better. And tracks off road as well or better. I honestly think better in a vast majorityof situations... I have fewer issues finding traction on wet (mostly water with muddy bottoms) terrain through mostly tore up double track. The tire does pack a bit with thicker mud as expected. The Rallz front may have cleaned out a hair better but the Mitas generally had more of an edge to bite with which helped jump to the other side of the trail or double track over the hump regardless of what the center hump looked like (how deep the ruts were). I will say the rear is great, but I would really quite like a lil deeper tread (my rear is the Mitas Trail Rally Pro). The rear is wearing VERY fast, the front is still mint after roughly 800 miles overall with heavy trail use with maybe 300 miles of road use in roughly a month. I have these tires on dedicated wheels for a reason. 15 minute, swapped, and ready to go. So these see way more dirt/trail use than road use. And this bike has seen just over 100 mph with this front tire on it, on the road, at only 18 psi. I couldn't break 75 mph with the rallz front without getting sketchy at higher tire pressures too. I very much overall love this front tire.
