Stay away from My Book 8TB
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Bought one used and had problems with it - Decided to get a new one recently and... had problems with it! Unlike WD's EasyStore drives, these My Book 8TB units seem dodgy - it's tough to get files on them and after you do, your computer suddenly doesn't recognize the drive. I like WD as a company and have several of their Elements, My Book and EasyStore drives but one thing I am sure of: the My Book series is no good once you go over the 6TB size.

Great Value
Haven't had it long, but I love it so far. Sounds great - definitely an improvement on the two cheap Logitech speakers I had hooked up to my computer previously, and having it powered by USB is super convenient - means I never have to worry about also turning the speakers off when I turn the computer off.

If you're thinking of buying this set to get a better looking version of And Now Tomorrow - DON'T!
I picked up this set hoping to finally get a good-looking version of And Now Tomorrow. Unfortunately, the version here is the same wretchedly unwatchable junk Universal's Vault Series released - It was clearly created using a Region-2 source but the proper adjustments weren't made and as a result the movie has this constant distracting streaking in the image when any character so much as moves an inch. Oh well. The other movies on the set look fine, but I already had two of them! The one I didn't own already (Saskatchewan) looks to be a very good transfer (very vibrant colors). So, if you don't have any of these movies and you think 25 (appr.) dollars is a reasonable price for 3, then go for it.
