Top notch album for those that adore Indian music.
This is a wonderful collection of her great Sitar playing along with some Western meld at times. There is a piece where she plays her Sitar opposite a classical guitar that is purely dreamy.
I was fortunate enough to see Anoushka play Sitar in the Ravi Shankar Orchestra in Portland, Oregon USA when she was very young. Ravi played lead Sitar at that time. I am awed how she has become what I propose as the top Sitar player currently.
She has a magic about her. The Orchestra appears to understand and responds well when she conducts.
