Unadulterated history of the U.S.
It's great to read history as it was written at the time and not get the glossed-over, sweetened-up version. I'm referring to the beginning of Zinn's book that cites actual accounts from men's journals of the conquest of indigenous peoples in "the New Land." Quite horrific! It is a slow read for me, but very worth it. I'm eager to continue on to the more present age and see what my high school history books decided to hide.

Roll up sunglasses
These are so handy to keep in the car or in coat pockets, anywhere they'll be handy to grab when the sun gets to that glare point while driving. We always seem to lose them, so was happy to find this offer on eBay!
