Get the Plastic Frame Cutter instead of the Precision Side Cutter
For costing a dollar more (at time of purchase) MORE than the Plastic Frame Cutter by the same brand, this is abysmal.
The Plastic Frame Cutter is their other 'sprue cutter' product which is infinitely better as I used THAT for more than 5 years and it works great.
This "precision side cutter" is absolutely worthless.
If you need a reference point, I was cutting out some Warhammer 40,000 Reiver Models and I made a 'cut' near one of the bodies on the sprue, and it just ripped the entire piece out and ruined it. I performed the cut the EXACT SAME WAY I would use the normal Plastic Frame Cutter.
This thing was so bad. Other Army Painter products are very solid and their paints are great. Again, purchase the Plastic Frame Cutter instead of this thing.
