A Really Interesting Film!
I think John Woo scored in his production role here! While perhaps never truly realizing his potential as a Director/Producer in the United States this film feels like it was well planned and well developed... I have always been a fan of indigenous and/or aboriginal cultures depicted in film. Films like Rapa Nui (1994) and The Dead Lands (2014) rank among my favorite...and now I can add this film Warriors of The Rainbow: Seediq Bale Part 1 & Part 2 to my list! Here’s hoping John Woo can repeat some of his prior success as Director again someday as well.
