0 von 1 finden das hilfreich The drive does not work as shipped. Although it was recognized, it could not be written on reliably using Macrium no anything else. The OS was asking to reformat, something that I could not do. Before returning the drive, I tried to erease everything even if it was empty and then reformat. I did that with EASEUS. My machine is under win 7 pro with i7 as core.
Formating alone was impossible without first wiping the drive clean something that took many hours.
I do not understand why the hassle.
Once that done, the drive did work as expected (so far). But I am leery of these drives that come tothe markert without a thorough design and I am not sure if the problem will not come again. I will never buy again this type of drive.
Conclusion. Do not fall into that trap of cheap drive. You get what you pay. Use any other reliable drives. Buy an external USB drive. Open it and the inside sata will work perfectly in the laptop. I did that with Western digital and I am delighted.
