Give it a shot-you won't be sorry.
Don't listen to the critics. This is a fantastic little sleeper flick from a new film making talent. Based on an award winning short, the writing turned it into a heart felt, compassionate, full length feature about family, loss and the kind of sadness which can lead a good man astray...but ultimately, potential redemption. Blended with great performances and humor-it never delves into depressing in spite of its subject matter-a man who wants to disappear forever.
Slightly reminiscent of my other independent favorite INK, it's worth more than a single watch-even if it is only for the impromptu music video that pops up mid movie that is totally reminiscent of the 80's!
