Hi gain! Some improvement needed.
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich Way too much output. Squeals like crazy, and Seymour Duncan still hasn't responded to my emails after many months.
This pickup sounds good, when there is minimal gain, but I bought it for use with medium to high gain songs.
I would not recommend this pickup unless you have a good gate in your setup, or hum doesn't bother you. The hum, for me, was unacceptable. Especially for tracking.
I think the value was so so, and as such, I sided on it not being good value. My reason is that I hesitate, and have to think about it. There should be no consideration needed. If there was a "maybe" option, I would have chosen that.
The pickup is enjoyable, as it does have nice tone installed in my custom ibanez, but there are many, many problems with this pickup, that need to be addressed. A response from Seymour Duncan would be nice, and expected as well.

Perfect. Just as advertised. Sounds amazing.
This pickup is the closest sounding to original PAF 59's I have ever experienced!
