It is NOT "Solid steel construction": it is aluminum. And it is very poory designed and is so wobbly it is DANGEROUS to use with a firearm.

Wish I had bought long ago.
Great little device that I wish I had purchased long ago. Really increased the accuracy of my woodworking cuts and helps with chisel and blade sharpening.
