AMT 2016 Camaro SS Snap Kit
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich For a snap kit the level of detail is extremely high. The fit and finish about the best I've seen on any AMT kit I've every bought. So far, I'm about half way done painting it, the only issue I have thus far is that the detail etching on the seats isn't as deep as it could be, making it hard to find the lines for detail painting. The detail on everything else is great. A great kit for a junior modelers or first timers, and for the more advance modelers a nice pallet cleanse in anticipation for the just released full detail glue kit.

Simple but detailed.
Although this is a "SnapTite" kit the level of detail is quite high. The body looks very proportionate the real car. The assembly is straight forward and the kit can be assembled in around 5mins. A nice kit for the younger modeler. For the more advanced, it is easy to repaint and detail to give the look of a more advanced kit.
A few things to watch for if you're looking to detail the kit above the box kit. One, there are mold likes that will need to be removed before repainting. Each corner has a mold line to remove and there is one behind each door as well. There are no decals in the kit, so you'll either need to get them from another source or print them out yourself. I found the axels to be a bit too long causing the wheels to stick out from the body a small amount, especially the rear and you can see it on the kit box art.
Over all though, I think this is a very nice "snap" kit for the new or young builder and a definite must have for the more advance Ford modeler's out there.
