    This is absolutely perfect. I’ve wanted one of these since early 90s and it did not disappoint. It’s my new favorite article of clothing. Actually looks better in person and seller was extremely gracious in my mistake in bidding. Shipping was super fast and it was safely packaged. 10 Stars A+++

Nice blend of cynicism and optimism.
My parents turned me on to this series years ago when it was broadcast on PBS. Getting hard to find now, but it's still a blast!

Perfect for fans of Angela Lansbury and Audrey Hepburn
Angela Lansbury is cast to perfection as English charlady Ada 'Arris. Smitten by her employer's Dior dress, Mrs. 'Arris scrimps and saves for three years to raise enough money to buy one herself. In the process, she takes on extra work and deprives herself of such small luxuries as taking the bus to work. With funds at last in hand, she travels to Paris and the House of Dior, where a snobbish employee decides Mrs. 'Arris is unworthy of a Dior dress. All is not lost. Kinder employees come to her aid, most notably Tamara Gorski as a Dior model whose character resembles Audrey Hepburn in looks and charm. The movie exudes the feel of such Hepburn classics as Sabrina and Roman Holiday. Co-stars Diana Rigg, Omar Sharif, and others are effective in their roles. One caveat when buying, is to avoid the "Exclusive edited version . . .” as noted on the front cover of some VHS tapes. This version loses about 10 minutes of scenes apparently deemed not family friendly. I discovered this the hard way after purchasing a DVD-on-demand that must have been copied from the edited version. I recognized from having viewed a library video that scenes were missing. (These scenes are mild in comparison to what most kids see on a daily basis, and should not be a concern for anyone over the age of ten.) I'm glad to have finally tracked down a full-version videotape, which I will surely enjoy time and time again.
