Good history book with deep thoughts

I am writing an report about the atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima and nagazaki. This book provided the viewpoint that against using the atomic bomb, and supported with good evidences. The writer was a signifcant person working in the US Navy, which added more reliability to this book.
