Probably a stop gap
I fitted one of these repair kits a while ago. It helped for probably 2 or 3 months before the faults were re-occuring. So if you want to fix it properly i'd recomend purchasing the whole inlet manifold. Whilst this fixes one end of the swirl flap bearing, it doesnt fix the internal bearings, which in my case were laughably bad.(90k miles).
Ive just had this fault now on the other side, so ive bought one more of these as a temporary measure until it starts failing again, and i will buy a new manifold, and curse for a few hours whilst fitting it.
