Does the job!
Bought this to cure a persistent drip from the shower bar in my bathroom. A replacement washer not having fixed it. This tool worked first time, and the drip is gone! What else do you want? I'm sure there are heavier duty professional tools out there, but for the home DIY user, this is all I needed.

Fits both Maplin and Silverline soldering stations.
I bought this replacement iron in the hope that it would fit my old Maplin 50W soldering station. Since Maplin went out of business I did not know where to get spares. The Maplin unit is branded Union Brothers BP 53. This replacement iron works just fine!
As a bonus I found that this iron also fits my Silverline 48W soldering station catalogue no: 265829.
Silverline replacement tips (part no 282578) are readily available and these fit the iron too.
All in all a good solution which keeps my old Maplin solder station working.
