An Improvement!
The main selling point of the New 3DS is the improved 3D, by far. Much smoother, less jarring and I've been playing with it on pretty much permanently. SD card management over WiFi is also pretty convenient except that it doesn't work with Windows 10, which is stupid. Definitely an improvement, but whether it's enough of one is up to you.
