Buy new, don't rebuild
Better and doesn't cost more than rebuilding a carburator. (if you add in the time and stress of possibly losing a part that is not included in a rebuild kit) After an easy installation, engine started right up and ran perfectly without adjusting. Another reason to buy an new after market (if you can even find an OEM Tecumseh, I would advise against it because the needle and seat are probably deteriorated) is that if you have any problems, you have the old on as a reference and for parts.

I had a stainless steel one that heated ...
I had a stainless steel one that heated better. 130 deg on the stainless is like 140 deg on this plastic one. It takes longer to heat and the lid has a slit to drink from that has no slide to close to keep from spilling like the stainless has. it is easier to clean though, but I like the stainless steel ones better.
