For the price, this gadget is awesome.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I now have the baofeng gt 3tp & the baofeng gt 5tp (I'm starting to collect these radios). I prefer the aesthetics of the 5tp. The duel receive is a good function to have on the 5tp. Noticed the scan function was slower on the 5tp compared to the 3tp and the push to talk button on the 5tp wasn't as pronounced on the duel push. Otherwise I really love this new addition.

I mostly scan the frequencies for chatter.
I will probably order a longer aerial / antenna to get better reception (maybe even pick up ISS as it flies over - they getting better Ham radios in December so that could be fun).
I still need to figure out all the features on the radio and what channels are open to use and which ones are restricted. Maybe look at doing a course and get registered
Btw you can change the back light to orange, blue or purple or off. I use blue for incoming and orange for operating.
Remember that radios only work with line of sight. I've managed a 5 km test with a good line of sight.
