Don't throw away the old pin and spring
I liked this product but had two issues with it. The pin had a flat end and not pointed like the old pin which was very awkward to manoeuvre into the holes. I used the old pin instead and it fitted very easily. The other issue was the spring. It was a different shape to the original so I used the original instead.

Lightweight
I was hoping to get a robust toilet seat with stronger hinges. Although recommending it is not a problem and value for money etc. It will suit some toilets perfectly but I would not purchase another for the jobs I do. Working as a handyman I get requests to replace toilet seats and would like my customers to be 100% happy with what I recommend and fit.
I found this one a bit lightweight and there was still movement of the seat once I had tightened the fixings.
