A solid speciality axe
Really good metal. My wood orientation was spot on and flawless quality. This is not a felling axe, it's also not a hatchet. It is a great backpacking axe and a proper carpentry tool. Quality and value rings true. Know what you want it for, use it for that and maybe a lil more, and drive on.

Still the one
I've carried this multi-tool for over 15 years and will continue to trust it in the future. The replaceable carbon cutters, quality blade, and tough as nails pliers work. The sheath is the weakest link, but replaceable. Also, the one handed deployment makes it better than the Leatherman in my experience. A1.

Other options work better for me
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'm no expert, and certainly don't have a YouTube channel devoted to knife reviews. Being said, this knife, with it's solid build, good steel, and deep pocket carry doesn't work that great for me. I know I used to a liner or a frame lock and the "axis lock" will become second nature in another month. What won't be fixed is the smoothness of the handle. When I'm using it in water or wastewater it slides around too easily even with textile gloves on. I'm giving it another 3 months, but then I'll probably go back to my cheapo Kershaw that I can sharpen everynight. Good quality, just not for my dumbass.
