Handy Tape Measure

I had bought one of these a few years ago and it was the tape measure I carried around the house. At 16 feet it is small enough for quick measuring of smaller projects or repairs. I like the carabiner because it hangs on a belt loop - easy to reach but not so wide I have to walk sideways through doors or worry about knocking lamps off tables. Measures in standard or metric, whichever is your preference. I have found that for very close tolerances metric measurements tend to be easier to figure and more accurate than fractional.

Christmas Light Shingle Tabs

I had bought a bunch of these for hanging lights on the roof. They slide easily between the shinge and drip edge. Are high enough to keep them above the gutters, and make them look really straight. Had more lights than tabs and was unable to find them in any stores, so I was using an inadequate replacement. When I found these on e-bay I bought 200 of them, in case I want to expand my display. Am going to buy a couple more packages. I have been putting up Christmas lights on the house for over 30 years, and these are by far the best. You can even leave them on the light string and roll them up with the lights when you store them.
