Gears wear out quickly
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Bought this unit from a John Deere dealer three years ago and need to replace the gears for the second time. Dealer did the setup twice to pull behind a JD X500 tractor. Lot is flat 1 acre, and the sweeper is only used 5-6 times per year for pickup up mulched leaves. Works great for a short time, until the gears wear out and the wheels no longer drive the brushes, rendering the sweeper useless until the gears are replaced again -
a $125-150 dealer repair charge. Dealer said the gears are plastic and not designed for long life - definitely not living up to John Deere reputation. Should have kept my old AgriFab that I gave to my son in law.
