Don't screw this up!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The seller is a Toyota/Scion dealership. My truck is a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab TRD with a V-6 and an automatic. It lived in Erie County, Pennsylvania for the first seven years of its life. The road salt destroyed the frame rails and crossmembers, but the body was in great shape and it only had 29,000 miles on it. I took a chance, and it came up aces --- Toyota replaced the frame at no charge (that TSB is now expired). Then I had a nice-looking truck with pitted and corroded 16" wheels and a set of tires that came with the truck.
I though about going big, but I do too much "truck" stuff with it to risk breaking a wheel. The stock tire is a BF Goodrich All Terrain, 265 65 R16. I had almost decided on a set of wheels from a local FJ Cruiser before I saw the eBay add for Central Florida Toyota Scion Parts. These wheels were 17" take-offs from a 2016 4Runner. They were dirt cheap, as were the center caps that I bought from the same place. I bought five wheel and four caps, all of which were is "as new" condition. I had a set of Bridgestone 265 70 R17 Tires mounted on them. The proportions and overall look of the truck is greatly improved, the ride is more comfortable, it creates less road noise, and I get better gas mileage because of the lower rolling resistance.
There is always a certain amount of risk in buying used parts, but I have a hard time calling these wheels and center caps "used." I couldn't be any happier with any aspect of this purchase: the service I received; the timeliness of the shipping; the condition of the merchandise; or the finished product. If only I could talk them into selling complete "take-off trucks."

Better Than Advertised
Figment was exactly right. I didn’t even need to re-code it. Great value!
