Re-issue of childhood favorite

I had this model when I was a kid back in the 70s and was glad to see that it was being re-issued. The model was always fragile to begin with and difficult to keep intact as far as I can recall. The model does require gluing to stay together. The new version is no different. The addition of decals is new, and most of them do not add much to the model, except the jolly roger skull for the flag and the bandanna. There was some minor flash present that had to be trimmed. The seams do show when it is put together and will require sanding and filling if you are a expecting to make this a showpiece. Still, this is a bargain at $19.99 and a fun project for you to do with you kids or grand-kids.

Captain Phasma-What you see is what you get!!!

Another quality figure from Kotobukiya's ARFTFX+ line. The figure fits together well and the sculpt and paint job is top notch. You get two options for posing: holding blaster or relaxed. I would have liked to have seen a more dynamic posing option such as a firing or pointing. This figure is to scale and is a little taller than the stormtroopers. As a result it is a little top heavy and falls off the base easily when it is moved. The figure is currently the least expensive in the Star Wars line, selling in the $30-40 range, which is a bargain.
