What went before
Having read the Deptford Mice Trilogy, I enjoyed this prequel to see the origins of the characters.

Attractive and well-made.
The tie clip is well-made and attractive. It was a present for my husband to wear as part of his Steampunk outfits and he is very pleased with it.

Gritty and realistic
Based on the previous 11 series, I'm expecting that the characters and storylines in these DVDs will be amazing - they usually are. I haven't yet had the chance to watch for myself but am looking forward to seeing how the stories develop.
