Works great for a whirlpool tub!
Happy to have found this and highly recommend to use with whirlpool tubs. We recently remodeled our guest bathroom, and replaced the regular tub with a whirlpool tub. It doesn't come with a strainer nor offered as an accessory. We made the decision to install the whirlpool tub in the guest bath because the master bath doesn't have the room for one, but I wanted a strainer for times when guests want to shower. The whirlpool tub stopper is resting loosely so it can be removed easily by just taking it off. This strainer comes with a long screw so it can be inserted and does catch hair. So even though I can not "screw" it into the tub that's ok with me. I'm sure for regular tubs the screw can be screwed in.
