Better ways to waste my time
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich For die hard enthusiasts only. Love Hangman's Beautiful Daughter and U, but, even if I put this on, I don't bother listening. Is it age or what, but no real magic here.

Death in the Guitafternoon
A modest piece of rock heaven, rarely overhyped (except in the liner notes). Larry comments that his band members are not normal, they're not, they can play, like really rock it! Don't try and use your bus pass playing this on your iPod, the thought police will throw you off the bus, but hey, can you remember it like it was? Well it never was, but this is what you'd like to think you remembered. Hank Marvin on acid? Battery acid maybe, this squeals, and Larry does his fingers in, never mind John's blisters. Listen to "I'm a Police Car", lyrics so mad it works, like you forget Black Beauty's a dumb horse. Give up your love affair with an ice cold telephone, buy this, play it loud, and the neighbours will be flooding round to listen; one or two might try to enveigle their way into your good books bringing round some California blended red, but humour them if they do; there's room for all sorts. If your neighbours are all out at Bingo, nevermind, turn up the volume and put the CD player on "repeat". You're in for a good time, as long as Larry's being played. Do your self a favour and get two copies, one for the car, as well.
