Some out of specification connectors, some bind at the Bayonet ring. Good value so order double what you need and throw the substandard ones away?

Two out of the four I ordered would not attach to a BNC connection correctly, they would bind as they were pushed into the connector just short of being able to turn the Bayonet. One was used on the end of a very labour intensive and difficult 80 foot 9913 cable run through my walls with small margin for recutting and switching to a good connector once pulled. The other bad connector was not even touched, so it was not because of the preparation and soldering. It looks like the internal diameter, and thus clearance, of the Bayonet ring was too small to be usable. Once pushed in, very hard to pull apart too. I can confirm as it binds short of a full insert, that it makes a solid electrical connection with no disruption reported by an Antenna and Cable analyzer though, so it has that going for it. Not being able to pull it back apart from the inside of Keystone connector on the wallplate might be OK for me so I will use it, but I will have to throw the untouched one away as it was intended to be used in a more dynamic situation. The price was reasonable, but one is left feeling that one gets what they pay for.
