The BEST box set ever !
It's been the only music listened to since received-
every disc is a musical experience capturing the creative energy, writing and performance
of a band that clearly loves what they do so well...
unlike ANY other !
I normally do not believe anyone covers a song on par with the original artist
but Mike Scott IS the exception when it comes to such classics as Van Morrison, Prince,
Dylan and others.
EVERY genre of music is represented and skillfully & sometimes amusingly executed-
such talent !
Scott's guitar & voice, Wickam's beautiful surreal fiddling and the rest of the band
are incredibly gifted and musically amazing-
there is a sweet, spirited, undeniable holiness about "The Waterboys"...
