Send and receive.
After giving it a full charge with the USB that came with the device, I plugged it into my ipod with the 3.5mm jack and paired to my speaker system. No problems and very easy. I've also used it to receive, also with no problems.
At the time of writing this I cannot give a duration of the battery as I haven't used it for an extended period.
Great little product.

Quick, easy and stong
Used to lie a ridge line for a Tarp. Super quick to use and held through the night of a very windy storm. Easy to dismantle also.

Cut quick
