At Least It's Cheap
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich I purchased this game for only one reason: I had 5 bucks to blow, so I bought this used. There were not alot of other choices. I thought it might be worth some good playing time, but after a few hours, I was pretty much finished with it. The puzzles are interesting and the scenery is nice, but beyond that, the game takes a turn for the worse. The combat controls are awful. Sometimes you can accomplish a nice combo by button mashing, and do a very nice looking move that turned out to do no damage because the enemy walked away or decided to block while you were doing it. And this game has it's fair share of glitches to boot. I was constantly getting the characters stuck in places, having trouble getting them out. I also have heard many people say its possible to fall out of the world, but I suppose I never played long enough for that to happen.
As for the characters, I wasn't much impressed. Jen is sarcastic and has bouncy breasts. Not alot going for her. Scree is a gargoyle. Thats it.
Now then, should you purchase this game? Sure, if you have a few bucks to blow. It might entertain you for a couple hours.

For Mystery Fans Only
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This game was fun, for a little while. It has a great story with multiple endings, all of which you are caused by your actions throughout the game. You solve some puzzles and mysteries though this game, and at the end, you probably will feel like playing through a couple more times to see another ending or two. But it does not take long to finish the story all the way through. Plus, there really is no gameplay. Your responsibility is basically to move your character from one event to the next. If your an action game fan, this game will most likely bore you.
As for the graphics, sound quality, etc., they are beautiful, considering the time of release.
Now, all this makes it had to give it an overall rating. It really depends on what you are looking for. So, I give it an average rating. It really is a game that is up to you to like it or not.
So I say to you who may be interested in purchasing this game: Do not consider yourself purchasing a game, but rather purchasing a movie. You could probably get this game cheaper than many movies, and this has a better story than many movies. But do not get this game expecting any action; there is nil, it is purely a playable mystery movie.

Crazy, Strange and Fun
4 von 5 finden das hilfreich Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watching an old corney western movie (they are all the same, aren't they?) and have a samurai come out of nowhere and start hacking off arms, legs and other various body parts? Honestly, neither had I until I picked up this game. I am not a fan of westerns, but this definitely makes them fun. This game is just crazy though. Everything is made to be wierd and out of place, but that makes it all the better. The graphics, however, are a bit lacking and so is the length of the game, but it has it's fair share of unlockables that might get you to play through it a few times. Or you may just get the urge to dismember more cowboys. I say, unless your a stuck-up fan of the old westerns, pick up this game and have a blast. If you can find it, I don't see it much.
