Oil-based rather than acrylic? Definitely NOT for children
I bought these pens because I've never tried acrylic paint markers. I like alcohol & watercolour pens so I thought it would be worth trying. I didn't want to fork out for Posca or Arteza yet, and I chose these to be more pocket-friendly.
First of all, they are individually wrapped in cellophane, loose-packed in a brown cardboard parcel box, so not as illustrated.
Secondly - they take a LONG, LONG time of vigorous shaking combined with pressing the nib down to stimulate paint flow.
Thirdly - they stink. Please do not buy these pens to give to children, or for use in an unventilated room. It's a really strong acetone (pear drops/nail polish remover) smell, which can't be healthy. My head is still spinning, an hour after using them. There's no health & safety advice with these pens - just a translation on the side of the pen to advise that the 'ink does not enter the month'(sic). There's a clue to toxicity, I'd say.
Finally - because of the acetone smell, the dried finish of the pens (slightly shiny and uneven on sakura black 140 gm paper, and like a poor quality alcohol marker on white 80gm paper), plus the way you have to really vigorously shake the things to get the ink to flow, I'd say they were OIL-based markers, not acrylic.
If you're thinking of buying these as an intro to acrylic marker pens, I'd recommend just getting a couple of Posca or another named brand to test. If you're thinking of getting acrylic markers to give to children - don't get these.

A bit pale for me, and I don't like the ...
A bit pale for me, and I don't like the tiny dots of glitter(?) it leaves behind. However - it really softens and smooths my lips very quickly - even after the first application I could tell the difference.

Great for fine detail casting & superior to air dry and polymer clays
So simple to use - but sets like fine ceramic. Captures fine detail beautifully on flat casts (I haven't tried 3-d moulds yet). I've had passable to OK results with a variety of air-dry and polymer clays, but this Scolacast plaster beats them all. I've had great results with the soft and shallow Stamperia moulds; the deeper and very detailed Zuri moulds, and some hand-made silicone and rubber moulds.
Is dry enough to de-mould after 40 minutes or so, but give it a good 24 (warmish) hours to fully cure, before you add paint or weatherproofing (marine) resin.
Mix is 3 parts plaster to 2 parts water - result is a thick but pourable medium.
