Taking Chance
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich If you aren't moved to tears by this story of service and sacrifice, you have a stone for a heart! This was a well-crafted story about a senior officer who accompanies the body of a fallen Marine home. Kevin Bacon gives a convincing and moving performance as the Lt. Colonel who has lost touch with the blood and guts daily sacrifices of the Marine in combat. The fact that this is a true story makes it even better. Highly recommended for any American who appreciates our freedom and understand that freedom is never free.

Good-Bye, I Love You by Carol Lynn Pearson
This was a beautifully written, sensitive account of love and loyalty as a woman embraces her gay former husband and cares for him as he dies from AIDS. Carol Lynn teaches us the true meaning of Christ-like love. I laughed and cried as I read her heart warming story.
